Users do not need Admin-Rights to install the Native Edition

Installing GoEdit Native Edition will not require any administrative rights on your PC, Mac or Linux. This is great!
  • This means, every normal user will be able to install the Native Edition without asking the administrator to help him
  • This reduces the load on the IT and makes it a lot easier to try GoEdit without any IT involved
  • The IT does not need to be worried, since we obviously do not change any system-critical values or values which do not apply to corporate guidelines
  • We have been working hard on minimizing the requirements and permissions the Native Clients needs on the system
  • Optional: as GoEdit is distributed as [Link: You are not allowed to view this content], your IT can easily deploy GoEdit companywide for all your users by using GPO.
